Nia Powell
Nia Powell graduated as an Actor from the Academy of Live and Recorded Art in 2020.
Graduating in a pandemic year naturally lent itself to Nia writing scripts across live and digital mediums, as well as poetry. Her scripts look at topics that are close to her heart.
Most recently, she co-wrote a play with Elise Fallon about the Gypsy Roma/Traveller and LGBTQ+ communities in the 80’s. They were fortunate enough to research and develop this with the National Youth Theatre.
