Matthew Howell

Matthew trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

His work since leaving drama school has been as varied as it has stimulating. He has had the lead role pulling pints in a series of London’s best pubs, including one in the West End. He has also held down a Christmas job as a Butcher, utilising his movement skills, mainly chopping. He followed this up with a stint on the customer service desk of the General Dental Council, a study in improvisation. Whilst his vocal dexterity has lead to various tours as a salesman for Google, hair salons, card readers or anything else people will pay him for.

His acting career between these jobs has been “sporadic and underwhelming”. Aside form a lucky stint doing The Play That Goes Wrong, which literally requires you to be good at being bad at acting. So every cloud eh.
